How this list is built

A company is on this list when, at the close named above, it had a market value of $10 billion or more and a negative total return over the past year (the price change with dividends reinvested). The test runs over the 2,300+ US-listed stocks that have a page on TrendArc: stocks listed on the NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE American or Cboe, one line per company where a company has more than one share class.

Prices are closing prices adjusted for splits, and the 52-week high and low are the highest and lowest of those closes over the past 52 weeks. The P/E divides the share price by diluted earnings per share over the last twelve months; the forward P/E divides it by the earnings analysts expect over the next twelve. The one-year return is the change in price with dividends reinvested.

No forecast, no recommendation. A list made by a fixed filter is not advice to buy, sell or hold any security, and a company's place on it says nothing about where its price goes next.
